Gernot Schwanhäußer supports O&P clients in the technical fields of optics, measurement and medical technology, technical informatics and mechanical engineering.
VITA
Gernot Schwanhäußer studied physics at the RWTH Aachen and Imperial College, London. His diploma thesis dealt with semiconductor lasers and the patentability of software.
Between 1996 and 1999 he worked as a patent attorney in the industrial patent department of Alcatel SEL AG in the fields of communication technology and railroad signalling. He was admitted to practice before the European Patent Office in 1999, and after his training as a patent attorney in the Stuttgart office of Witte, Weller & Partner he was admitted to practice as a patent attorney in 2002. He then joined our firm and has been a partner since 2004.
